🎮 THE BASICS

SHOT STROKES

🌪️ SLICE / REVERSE SLICE: only from a high overhead shuttle. Right-hander: right side = Slice, left side = Reverse Slice. Left-hander: left side = Slice, right side = Reverse Slice.

HOLD & FLICK

Start drawing slowly so CPU reads a soft shot, then accelerate sharply at the end → sends the shuttle deep as a clear/fast shot. CPU gets caught forward.

How fast you move across the court. Higher speed = you reach more shots and recover position quicker. Set by your height and build.

💚 STA — Stamina

Your energy tank. Drains during long rallies — when low, your movement slows and shots weaken. Recovers between points. Set by your build.

🎯 TEC — Technique

Shot accuracy, control and deception. Starts at 3 for all players. Grows by playing matches. Each TEC point also boosts your Power.

👟 FWK — Footwork

Court efficiency and balance. Starts at 3 for all players. Grows by playing matches. Each FWK point also boosts your Speed.

💡 TEC + FWK grow through play — never through paying. Train your player, don't buy them.

Start fast and straight so CPU expects smash, then slow down and aim short → turns into a drop or slice-style attacking drop.

SLICE

From a high clear/lift on your forehand side, draw a straight overhead action then cut across to the other side. Right-hander: right side. Left-hander: left side. This creates a faster, flatter sliced drop.

Only works from a high clear/lift on your backhand side, using an overhead forehand action. Right-hander: left side. Left-hander: right side. Draw straight first, then redirect sharply to the other side.

💡 PRO TIPS

🔴 Trail goes orange? You're too deep to smash — it'll hit the net. Play a CLEAR first to reset position.

🟡 Trail goes gold? Deception detected — CPU is being misled. Keep going!

⚡ Draw early in slow-mo for clean contact. Draw at the last second = weaker rushed shot.

🕸️ Net play: If CPU drops short, a punchy early stroke = NET KILL, soft tape aim = NET DROP, deep aim = LIFT.

🏃 Deep court = CLEAR to get back to centre. Fast short shots from the back become drives/slices — not impossible smashes.
